Idag tipsar jag er om två fantastiska filmer jag nyligen såg. The Secret Life Of Bees (Igår) och Know Thy Enemy (för någon vecka sen.)
Know Thy Enemy Summary:
Pressured into becoming a stereotypical thug rapper in order to get a record deal and mainstream air play, an ambitious young artist from "The 305" (aka Miami) begins to question whether fame is worth the price of admission when drugs, guns, sex, and money start to take priority over music. Nate Harris has the drive to be a superstar, but in order for that to happen he will have to compromise his integrity. When Nate embraces the gangsta rapper lifestyle as Nemesis, success comes swiftly. But when the stakes prove to be greater than Nate ever anticipated, he begins to question whether making a mint and topping the charts is really worth dying for.
The Secret Life of Bees Summary
Gina Prince-Bythewood's adaptation of Sue Monk Kidd's novel -The Secret Life of Bees stars Dakota Fanning as Lily, a 14-year-old growing up in a small Southern town in 1964. She is haunted by memories of shooting her mother when she was a young girl. Lily lives with her emotionally distant father, and her best friend is their African-American housekeeper Rosaleen (Jennifer Hudson). After locals beat Rosaleen for attempting to register as a voter, and Lily's dad goes one step too far during an argument with his daughter, Lily and Rosaleen set out to find the place where the only picture Lily has of her mother was taken. That place turns out to be the home of the independent Boatwright sisters, a trio -- Queen Latifah, Sophie Okonedo, and Alicia Keys -- who make a very successful living producing honey. Det känns toppen :) Inte det minsta nervös än i alla fall, förväntansfull som bara den och jag njuter för fullt.
Har en sådan toppengraviditet, så är väldigt tacksam att jag FÅTT njuta, så många som känner besvär och sådant över sina, och det är synd verkligen.
